Parquet flooring inspired by traditional Japanese mats.
European oak planks in Tatami texture, Coriander finish, laid as mats with Wenge wood border.
The surface appears as rectangles arranged side by side enclosing planks laid alternately horizontally and vertically: a decision that bestows “movement” to the floor making the design even more unique.
Cadorin’s exclusive Tatami processing, drawing inspiration from the texture of famous Japanese rice straw mats but here proposed in real wood, creates a truly captivating “three-dimensional” surface effect. The TATAMI imprint given to the wood also makes it pleasant to the touch or when walking on it barefoot.
An original design proposal from Cadorin.

Plus:

The treatment applied to the noble top layer gives the wood high hardness.
The pattern is created by compressing the wood, which reduces micro-voids and increases surface density, thereby improving mechanical resistance and ensuring greater long-term durability.

The raised surface texture ensures an innovative aesthetic and helps reduce sound reflection, making it an ideal solution for improving acoustic absorption.

The crafted surface texture not only provides a modern look but also ensures excellent non-slip grip.
An ideal solution for yacht or boat interiors, gyms, spas, stairs, etc.

The textured surface offers better grip and comfort for pets, preventing typical slipping and reducing the need for claws to walk safely.
