“Tomi de Legn” armchairs

Tomes are particularly large, heavy books and they are the theme for CADORIN’S new wooden creations.

The “TOMI de LEGN” collection consists of wooden books, small and large, giving life to the new DESIGN of furnishings “We started with the concept that, while it is true that with expert hands one can create any object in wood,” explain Cadorin’s designers, “one must also remember that good taste is essential.

These pieces can easily be personalised and coordinated with the wood flooring.

Stressed eco leather has been used for the upholstery, in a shade to perfectly match the design of these items, thanks to our collaboration with
Gobbo Salotti, Cadorin’s partner for the upholstery of the “El Caregoon de Quercia” sofa.

A new shape for Cadorin’s “Toc de Toe” range thanks to an innovative design.

Given the success of the Toc de Toe collection at the 2013 MADE Expo, CADORIN has come up with some more original items. Cadorin’s idea to inject new life into its production by creating unique pieces of furniture with an innovative design yet with traditional flavour has been warmly received. And so, following the “El Caregoon de Quercia” sofa, the “Sberla di Pero” and Oak tables and the bathroom tops, bar and reception counters, further new items could be seen at MADE Expo 2015 on the Cadorin stand, all the result of the creative flair of Cadorin’s designers and carefully shaped by the skilled hands of its master carpenters.

Extremely comfy armchairs and a chaise longue where “books” is still the main theme. Large “WOODEN TOMES” in fact form the basic structure of these elegant yet comfortable chairs with their exclusive design.
Two large books, one closed and the other partly open, form the arms of the chairs. Created in solid Walnut and Fir with the refined colours of the “bark” finishes.

Unique, original wooden items, one-of-a-kind and impossible to copy. Shaped by nature and the passing years. Due to its traditional passion and respect for wood, over the years Cadorin has put aside some of the most attractive planks – those that seem to tell a story when you look at them and speak of past events – in order to use them to create unique “designer” items of furniture. Hence Cadorin’s “TOC DE TOE” collection (literally meaning “pieces of board” in Veneto dialect). This is a collection that encompasses all the best secrets of wood, bringing them to life as unique items, such as tables, kitchen and bathroom tops, beds and sofas.
Inspired by nature and its power to forge new shapes, the “Toc de Toe” collection creates a continuum between the floor and the furniture, allowing you to co-ordinate or contrast different surfaces to create surprising, incredible effects. The items can also be designed to fit in with other furnishings and interior décor thanks to the infinite varieties of finish and crafting that Cadorin already uses for its flooring. It is not always easy to find and craft the raw material needed for the “Toc de Toe” collection. However, as it deals with such large quantities of wood to produce its flooring planks, Cadorin manages to put aside the odd “original” trunk or one that is exceptionally large or interestingly shaped by nature. Cadorin’s master carpenters then take these unique rustic giants and turn them into equally unique pieces of furniture.
