Cristiano Gatto Design is a Venice-based studio specializing in industrial design, yacht interiors and exteriors, real estate, and private residences. Founded in 2001, it blends creativity, experience, and an international vision.

With offices in Italy, Dubai, and Fort Lauderdale, it has completed over 270 projects for prestigious shipyards and clients, winning numerous global design awards.

KIMONO

KIMONO originates from the observation of an ancient symbol: the wave pattern of Japanese tradition known as Seigaiha, evoking continuity, balance, and movement.

This simple yet powerful sign becomes the starting point of the project. The research was developed within the 57-metre full custom yacht “Setteesettanta” by the Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts, where surface, rhythm, and material become central.

In the design of the wooden flooring, the rhythm of the waves shapes space through repetition.

Waves and koi evoke strength, perseverance, and transformation.
